On February 27, 2023, our author Justis Lopez recently attended The inaugural Carter G. Woodson Black Student Union Harvard Graduate School of Education black history gala hosted by it’s leaders, Terrance Mitchell, and Donalin Bell with support from the entire leadership team: Samra Zeweldi, Taylor Harrison, Rudy Luders, Diamond Arrington, and Kaijeh Johnson.
Justis was awarded an honor alongside such vibrant beings: Aundrey Page , Niko Emack, Angel Cox, and Ugonna Victor Achebe.
