Authors of Ryan and Justis of the Lauren Simone book Happyvism recently received their certificate of completion from Create Accelerator.
The Culturally Responsive Education Advancing Toward Equity (CREATE) Accelerator is an immersive development experience for community-centered organizations seeking to create a long-term impact on youth through culturally responsive practices. Pictured below is Justis with Alyssa Williams (left) and Dr. Chanel Hampton (right), both of whom played a huge role in Justis and Ryan’s transformative experience at Strategic Community Partners CREATE Accelerator. 
Project Happyvism was selected as one of the nine most transformative grassroots organizations in the country to catalyze their growth of culturally responsive education philosophies, theories, and practices.
